* 18 June, Sunday - Inform The Plan survey closes - Spreydon-Cashmere Community Board is keen to hear from local residents, businesses and groups to inform the development of its Spreydon-Cashmere Community Board Plan which makes priorities for its governance decisions affecting this part of the city. * 22 June, Thursday 9am-2pm, Safer Christchurch Show Case Event at Te Hapua, Halswell Centre, 341 Halswell Rd, Mohoao Room. Free registration and lunch. Hear about diverse work in the city to improve safety and wellbeing, including Family Violence, graffiti removal, Neighbourhood Creation Stations. * Cashmere Predator-Free Port Hills - thank you to all residents who have volunteered help with pest trapping. If this is your first email from us, welcome. We now have a rent-or-buy trap supply and are working our way through the email replies to you. Further inquiries welcome where pests are encountered. As the trapping starts, please register and "Request membership" on the Pest Trap NZ, Cashmere GIS page to add data - trap type, location, bait & catches etc. By listing input and results, better support resources will become available. * Hot-water cylinder problems - holds all CRA's information on this - feedback from residents anywhere in Christchurch, or from more engineers, is welcome for writing further blog posts.
