* 13 June, Tuesday - last chance submissions for the review of the operational response to the Port Hills fire, led by senior Australian firefighter Alan Goodwin. * 15 June, Thursday 9:15am-12pm - door-knock volunteers needed for the Christchurch Community Response Team check on Cashmere households, working with CREST*. Based from Cashmere Presbyterian Centre, 2 Macmillan Ave. Final day of a six-year well-being program - thank you so much CCR! Very well done.

* 18 June, Sunday - Inform The Plan survey closes - Spreydon-Cashmere Community Board is keen to hear from local residents, businesses and groups to inform the development of its Spreydon-Cashmere Community Board Plan which makes priorities for its governance decisions affecting this part of the city. Hear about diverse work in the city to improve safety and wellbeing, including Family Violence, graffiti removal, Neighbourhood Creation Stations. * Cashmere Predator-Free Port Hills - thank you to all residents who have volunteered help with pest trapping. If this is your first email from us, welcome. We now have a rent-or-buy trap supply and are working our way through the email replies to you. Further inquiries welcome where pests are encountered. As the trapping starts, please register and "Request membership" on the Pest Trap NZ, Cashmere GIS page trap.nz/project/251462/info to add data - trap type, location, bait & catches etc. By listing input and results, better support resources will become available.
